HBCU Motivation: Superman and Superwoman to the rescue! (1330 hits)
We love our HBCU King and Queen Shaquille O'Neal and Nikki "Hoopz" Alexander as a couple. We are always in search of role models who display love since it is so hard to come by nowadays. We see the powerful spirit and strength that Nikki "Hoopz" Alexander has despite her petite frame. She exudes positivity and that is why she is a Champion in our book.
Shaquille "Superman" O'Neal is a powerhouse who has always displayed a fun loving, gentle giant spirit who is a beast on the court. This couple has been a supporter of the HBCU community for a long time. We remember seeing "Hoopz" at the CIAA Basketball Tournament, and everyone was happy to see her and wanted to meet her. Why? Because she is real, and an athlete, and beautiful.
Shaq sure did give us himself for many years on the court and we want to salute him for a job well done as one of the best Basketball legends of all time. We know he has overcome many challenges because he is different than the average so his strength and courage is to be commended. We are so happy he is still in front of the people by working as a Basketball Analyst on ESPN for the NBA games. He brings the truth! "Shaq" has been our partner in helping to enhance the health of the HBCU community for a few years now. He is the spokesman for the National Bone Marrow Initiative sponsored by "Be The Match". We salute you two for being down to earth and hope all HBCUs find motivation from your talents.
