DELAWARE STATE UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES 2018 NURSING GRADUATES (3842 hits)


The DSU Department of Nursing celebrated the newest eight graduates of the its program during its annual Nurse Pinning Ceremony, held May 11 in the Education and Humanities Theatre.

The keynote speaker was a former nursing instructor and the NCLEX-RN coordinator (National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses) at DSU up until December 2017. She served as an instructor to all of the 2018 graduates.
During the Nurse Pinning Ceremony, the Department of Nurse presented the following awards to three graduates:

• Academic Excellence Award – Breanna Clinton of Amityville, N.Y.
• Clinical Excellence Award – Idalis Stamas of Dover, Del.
• Professional Growth Award – Kayla Nelson of Windsor Mill, Md.
