Summary


The CBRE Salesforce Program has an opportunity for a Force.com Platform Developer. This individual will be responsible for designing, developing, testing and implementing internal and external client software solutions. This individual will work with a talented team in a collaborative development environment and perform development, support, and testing duties. Strong communication skills and client focused experience is preferred. Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years application development experience on the Force.com platform.

Responsibilities


Develop and construct applications on the Force.com platform

Perform enhancements or maintenance to existing applications when needed
Evaluate, resolve and make decisions and recommendations to remediate application production issues

Analyze processes and workflows to design efficient solutions

Perform data migration with tools such as Salesforce Data Loader, Workbench, Dataloader.io, Jitterbit

Create relevant Apex test classes and unit tests

Perform user tests for applications

Leverage 3rd party WYSWYG tools for UI builds












Qualifications


Bachelor’s degree required in Computer Science, IS, MIS or related technology or engineering field

3+ years total relevant experience in building enterprise-level applications

Experience with Apex, SOQL, Reports, Dashboards, and Visualforce

Understanding of Best Practices, especially with respect to Roles and Profiles and core Salesforce.com Administrator practices

Abide by team coding standards

Experience with JIRA, Team Foundation Server or similar Agile Tools

Experience with Agile software development processes and the development life cycle

Demonstrate strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills
