Hello Everyone:
My wife and I gave birth to a 9lb 9oz Baby Boy on Friday January 30, 2009 at 5:13PM. Before we could take him home, Malachi was born with some abnormalities. Other then his abnormalities we thought we had a healthy Baby Boy. Malachi stayed in the hospital for the first week of his life, my wife was released on Monday February 2, 2009 and then re-admitted Wednesday February 4, 2009 when she was diagnosed with Pre-Eclampsia. I was running back and forth to two different hospitals. My son was released on Friday February 6, 2009 and on Sunday February 8, 2009 my wife was released. We wanted to focus our attention on our son, we were doing well until the weekend of February 28, 2009. Malachi didn't want to drink his Milk and loss weight, Malachi did feed slowly but surely. When we took him to our Pedriatrician on Tuesday March 3, 2009, He noticed there was something wrong with Malachi. Malachi was admitted to Levine's Children Hospital the same day. On Thursday March 5, 2009 (my wife's birthday) Malachi was diagnosed with Pulmonary stenosis. As a result of that diagnosis, Malachi was required to have open heart surgery, the surgery took place at The Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. So my wife and I flew to Philadelphia, PA to be there for our son, His surgery took place on Saturday March 7, 2009 (My Mother's Birthday) and it was a successs. Malachi recovered from his surgery in a timely manner. Malachi has gone through a lot in his first five weeks of life, Malachi is getting back to larger feeds and has his booming voice back. He has lets us know when to feed him and change his diaper. My wife and I look forward to raising our son and God Willing he will live a prosperous life.
