I am sure many people are wondering what the final picture of healthcare reform will really look like. So many rumors and areas that those who will deliver the final product still have to have a meeting of the minds on...but one thing that I believe should be a key component will be for there to be a paperless system as well as an integrated system to share information from one facility to the next. Over the course of someones life they will probably receive care at various facilities, sometimes even in various states and if anyone is like me, after awhile you might forget a visit or two. I know when I go somewhere and they ask when was the last time I had a tetanus shot, I have a puzzled look on my face. The following is how the first paperless facility operates and my hope is to see the total expansion to a national system.
