When young adults have health insurance, they have access to affordable essential health benefits such as doctor visits, prescription drugs, therapy, to keep them healthy and strong. If they have a pre-existing condition, they cannot be denied health services due to that condition. They will have access to essential mental health services as well. This will keep the body healthy along with the mind such as in combating seasonal Depression. To see this train begin to take off with enrollment of young adults, too, is a great investment in their future! Are you covered with health insurance?
This may seem like health coverage is not needed if you are a young and invincible young adult. I am sure you have seen a car accident or been in one that was never going to happen either. Then you saw your insurance rates go up because the person who hit you unexpectedly did not have any car insurance. Having health insurance for your health is the same idea.
Now, entering into the job industry, in your career, planning a small business, etc. means that everyone is filling a void by the persons who already retired from the job industry, careers, businesses, professions, etc. It is important to keep our economy going forwards and this is the driving force of the Affordable Care Act. It is to maintain opportunities for American citizens who can work to be strong, healthy while sustaining America to employ them, etc. Hand-in-Hand, Obamacare needs you to GET COVERED!
