The #SCOTUS hearings are not the only hearings being held up by the Senate according to an article appearing in the The Hill by Mario Trujillo. Dr. Carla Hayden, who could be the first African-American Librarian of Congress, has been waiting several months for a Senate hearing to take place. It has been decades since a new nominee for that top office of Librarian of Congress was made. However, Roy Blunt, (R-Mo.)
