For Immediate Release From Office of Safe and Supportive Schools!
APPLICATION EXTENSIONS: PROJECT PREVENT
Applicants Impacted by Grants.gov
We anticipate extending the deadline for transmittal of applications for the FY 2022 Project Prevent grant competition to October 5, 2022, for prospective eligible applicants because Grants.gov, the system used to submit applications electronically, was closed for site maintenance from September 23-29, 2022. Since applicants were unable to submit or work in Grants.gov during that time, we are extending the deadline to allow applicants additional time to complete and submit their applications.
Applicants Impacted by Hurricanes
We anticipate extending the deadline for transmittal of applications for the FY 2022 Project Prevent grant competition to October 7, 2022, for prospective eligible applicants in Puerto Rico and Florida due to disaster declarations caused by Hurricanes Fiona and Ian. We will consider extending the deadline for other affected States/regions if further disaster declarations are made.
