Why Are You Fat? (713 hits)

It all starts with a choice. Some people are born genetically challenged for most it is a choice. It is a choice to eat McD's or not. It is a choice to work out or not. It is a choice to take the elevator or the stairs. It is a choice to walk at lunch or sit at your desk and surf the internet.

Life is a choice and so is your weight. The habits that get someone to the obese status is just that, a result of habits. No one needs to be a size zero but there is a healthy weight for us all.

So how do you start to make the changes? Cookies taste good. So does ice cream, waffles and pancakes. I love them all. Now I just love one or two bites instead of one or two plates. I am a big guy at about 225 now. I was at 270. So what I did was start to eat healthy, exercise and bottom line burn more calories than what I took in.

There are many programs to change your weight. You have to be willing to make serious changes in your lifestyle, places you eat, places you hang out and sometimes even the people you hang out with. Healthy people hang out with healthy people. If you can't sever the ties with family members that choose to continue to eat like there is no tomorrow then only be around them when they aren't eating. Sometimes that will be impossible I know because they are always eating.

Eating disorders are an addiction. They need to be treated as such which means more than likely you will have an ongoing treatment program for many years. There are many safe products that you can use to curb appetite and make sweets not taste so good. They will also dramatically decrease the cravings for food and when you eat you feel full after just a few bites. I used a weight loss patch that works so if you want more information on it go the the website below.

I was fat because I ate unhealthy, couldn't control my eating habits and I never worked out. Why are you fat?
