Clarksville TN, Natural Choices Botanica of Traditional Healing announced their plans for a 3-day alternative health care conference dedicated to women’s health issues. The International Southern Women’s Herbal Conference, is a professional organization founded by Angelique Moss-Greer, the conference is designed to bring women of all ages, backgrounds & socioeconomic levels together to celebrate share and explore the ancient healing traditions of our foremothers. The resurrection of our communities requires that age-old traditions be recalled and practiced in order to keep our families healthy.
This conference is designed to empower women, to become proactive participants by taking charge of their health through alternative remedies and therapies. A recent study conducted by the Women’s’ Policy Team in Washington D.C., ranked the southern portion of the United States at the top of the list for poor health (mentally, physically & emotionally); Tennessee scored an overall D. The conference will host over 20 workshops, intensives & alternative healing practitioners from around the world.
Other activities scheduled include: Goddess Oasis, Henna Heaven Hut, Health & Wellness Emporium, Massage and Reiki Services, Yoga, Belly dancing, Earth Centered Kids Kamp & Traditional Barter Faire
Cost: $450.00 or $395.00 (early bird before 1 March 09) includes all meals, workshops and lodging.
