Columbus, OH (September 14, 2011) -- Dante Lee, the 30-year old Internet media mogul who is the founder and co-founder of Columbus-based Diversity City Media and Lee Moss Media, has acquired and is already in the process of developing two new web properties pertinent to the Philippines. Both sites are scheduled to go live in early 2012.
The first one, ManilaJobs.com, will be an online career tool for jobseekers and employers located in the Philippine capital city of Manila. With a population of more than 16 million people in the metro area, Manila is one of the fastest developing cities in Southeast Asia.
The second site, Tagalog.com, will be an online translation tool for foreigner residents and visitors to the Philippines. There are many dialects in the Philippines, but Tagalog is the official language of the country. As many as 250,000 residents in the country are foreigners, and millions of tourists visit the country each year.
Lee, who recently opened an office in downtown Manila, comments, "While the US continues to suffer from an economic downturn, Asian countries such as China, Philippines, and Vietnam are experiencing booming economies. There is major development going on everywhere - offline and online, and it only make sense for us to launch these ventures."
