President Obama continues to take steps to give relief to America's Middle-Class families and students!
These ongoing efforts include FHFA changes to prevent foreclosures, helping students better manage their student debt when they graduate, finally fixing the disasterous "No Child Left Behind" by giving states flexibility to help students meet higher standards, and to dramatically reduce the time it takes for small businesses to receive payment when for doing business for the federal government!
Also, mighty steps are being taken eliminating unnecessary regulations that will save hospitals and patients billions of dollars for healthcare services! This is crucial as we approcah the high season for mental illness coupled with a difficult economy. Untreated mental illnesses affect millions of persons (Depression, Chronic Depression, Bipolar, Schizophrenic, Post-Traumatic Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorders, Obssessive Compulsive Disorders, etc.).
These steps won't be an end-all substitute for the bold action needed to create jobs and grow the economy, but they will make a difference. The fact is,America'sdeficit problems are too serious to simply do nothing. The stakes are too high!
The issues facing Americans require serious bipartisan solutions, yet the Republicans in Congress have decided to put party before country and block legislation that would create jobs and grow the economy. It won't be tolerated by President Obama and his administration any longer!
What you can do? Consider how the average middle-class family will be able to avoid foreclosure and afford to send a child to college. Boarded-up houses plague a community with crime, disease, and decreased homeowner property value. Consider how a college education will better the whole family and fulfill dreams too long deferred and grow a community!
Then contact your Representative and let him or her know to act quickly to pass the American Jobs Act. He or She has the power to get the recommendation needed by the Joint Select Super Committee to vote on the American Jobs Act. Then a majority vote in Congress can move the American Jobs Acts for President Obama's signature. This will release jobs that will stimulate economical growth in your state, community, household. Be committed to voting in the upcoming elections to keep President Obama's priorities for your family first!
