May 12th Celebrations
On May 12th, America has one mission – celebrate the joy of trains and train travel! The 5th annual National Train Day is taking over four of the country’s most iconic train stations – in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Los Angeles – to host free, fun activities, interactive exhibits and train displays that will bring the ‘rail way’ to life for attendees both young and old.
Attend one of the four major events or explore hundreds of other celebrations across the country. If you don’t see a National Train Day event in your area, you can always host your own event and bring the celebration to life in your community:

Attendees in New York, Philadelphia, Chicago and Los Angeles will have the chance to tour private luxury railcars, freight and commuter trains, as well as current Amtrak equipment. There will be no ticketing system this year, so be sure to arrive early! Space is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. Exhibits open at 11:00 a.m. on May 12.

American Sign Language Interpreted Tours for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing at 12pm & 2pm.
