The Ohio Buckeyes showed up ready to run, walk, and stroll at today's "Jesse Owens Jog"!
Jesse Owens Daughter, Marlene Rankin - Co-Founder of the Jesse Owens Foundation started the race with words of good cheer!
Marathon participants also heard from our Mayor, Michael B. Coleman, OSU President - Michael V. Drake and Stephanie Hightower, the President and CEO of the Columbus Urban League.
Hundreds of marathon participants amped joined together to support one another. The energy stayed high with the help of sponsors including Magic 106.3 FM Radio, Nationwide Children's Hospital, and Buckeyeman!
The 2.62 Mile Fun Run & Walk from King-Lincoln District inspired many to start a new workout routine, while others found inspiration to become a future leader and record breaker. To be the best we must study the greats like Jesse Owens.
