Team Lead - Joint Target Intelligence Analyst

Team Lead - Joint Target Intelligence Analyst provides expert joint targeting intelligence support to United States Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM) staffs, sub-unified commands, and components in accordance with joint doctrine and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Instructions. This role delivers comprehensive joint target intelligenceincluding target system analysis, joint target development, target list management, combat assessment, and dynamic targeting supportto enable effective cyber and joint operations. The analyst also contributes to joint target intelligence enterprise management through training, standardization, automation, exercise coordination, and readiness initiatives.

MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide joint target intelligence support in accordance with JP 3-60, JP 3-12, and applicable CJCSIs, including CJCSI 3121.01, 3122.06, 3160.01, 3162.02, and 3370.01.
  • Support dynamic targeting and deliberate targeting operations consistent with joint targeting doctrine.
  • Coordinate joint target intelligence activities across USCYBERCOM staffs, components, other Combatant Commands, the Joint Staff, the Military Targeting Committee, and the Intelligence Community.
  • Recommend joint target intelligence policy updates and procedural improvements to USCYBERCOM staff leadership.
  • Produce joint target intelligence products.
  • Employ intelligence automation and targeting tools.
  • Adhere to ODNI and DIA all-source analytic tradecraft standards, including ICD 203, 206, 208, and 209.

Required Experience

  • Demonstrated experience providing joint target intelligence in accordance with joint doctrine and CJCSI guidance.
  • Expertise in target system analysis, target development, BDA, and joint targeting processes.
  • Experience coordinating targeting intelligence across joint, interagency, and Intelligence Community partners.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience preparing staff packages and briefing senior leaders.
  • Ability to function as a subject matter expert in operational, planning, and targeting forums.
  • Proficiency with joint targeting and intelligence automation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior training and experience within the DIA Mission Management Joint Target Intelligence career field.
  • Previous service in one or more of the following military occupational specialties:
    • USAF: 14N4, INS
    • USN: 1830 AQD Code 3A2; IS PNEC K23A/K27; SNEC K38A/K39A/K40A
    • USSF: 14N, 58
  • Experience supporting USCYBERCOM, a combatant command, or joint headquarters environment.
  • Experience supporting cyber targeting and cyber-enabled joint operations.

EDUCATION:

Masters degree with 12 years related experience or a Bachelors degree with 17 years related experience. Degree desired in Intelligence Studies, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field.


SECURITY CLEARANCE LEVEL:
Top Secret, SCI eligible and ability to pass a CI polygraph
