Full-Time Primary Care Attending Physician

NYC Health Hospitals/Coler, an affiliate of NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is seeking Full-time Primary Care Attending Physician to meet the goals of the organization, provide services that will ensure top level patient/provider continuity, and ensure the coordination of service across levels of care and access to timely and appropriate care.

Responsibilities:

As a Full-time Primary Care Attending at NYC Health Hospitals/Coler, you will:

  • Demonstrate a commitment to community health, evidence-based practice, academic medicine, and patient-centered care.
  • Adhere to applicable regulations for physician services and medical management.
  • Initiate referrals for consult and specialty services as needed.
  • Provide direct clinical services, including primary care and acute illness management, adhering to established protocols and evidence-based standards.
  • Facilitate emergency and planned discharges to acute hospitals or medical treatment facilities.Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical records, orders, and documentation.

Requirements:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible within 5 years post residency required; Geriatrics preferred
  • Licensed in New York State
  • Passion for patient care and clinical excellence
