Nevada State University (NSU) is pleased to announce the search for its next president. The institution seeks a visionary and student-centered leader who can thrive in a collaborative environment at a rapidly growing public 4-year institution serving more than 8,400 students in Southern Nevada. NSU is on a strong upward trajectory defined by enrollment growth, academic program expansion, a deep commitment to high-quality instruction, campus development, and innovation. The new president of Nevada State University will be an inclusive and engaging leader with the vision and energy to guide the institution through its next stage of development.
Nevada State is dedicated to excellence in teaching and learning and committed to the advancement of a diverse and largely underserved student population. NSU is a university where teaching and student support are valued above all else. Nestled among the foothills of Mount Scorpion in Henderson, Nevada, the 512-acre campus provides a growing student population with dynamic programs. Additionally, a new NSU campus in North Las Vegas is expected to open in Fall 2027.
