New Web Site Reveals Affordable Health Insurance Secrets and Tips (1690 hits)

Affordable health insurance is undoubtedly one of the most talked about subjects of 2008. In a bad economy that is often referred to as a recession, hundreds of thousands of Americans have found themselves unemployed and without the proper health coverage. Local and national politicians have all promised solutions, but all agree that things will get worse before they get better.

An organization called the Affordable Health Insurance Network (AHIN) has launched a web site at www.AffordableHealthInsurance.net to better educate American families about their health care options. The site features a comprehensive directory of health insurance resources, highlights various industry experts and advocates, debunks common myths and misconceptions, and reveals little-known secrets and tips.

AHIN is a global network of researchers and journalists who supply and document relevant content about the health care industry. They also track and report on the latest news developments and commentary. Their mission is simple: to promote and encourage the concept of affordable health coverage by educating the insured and the uninsured on how to find the solution themselves.

According to the U.S. Census Bureau, more than 47 million Americans do not have health insurance, with about 8.7 million of them being children. The number of uninsured Americans drastically increased in 1999, bringing the total to 15.5 percent of all Americans. Since then, almost 9 million more people have become uninsured.
