EASY DOESN'T = HEALTHY (407 hits)

Technology has made life "easy" on many levels - from how we obtain food, changing the television channels or getting around about town. “Easy” has turned many of us into LAZY. "Easy" has stopped families from the enjoyment of preparing the Sunday meal together…like you heard about back in the day at great grandma’s house. " Easy" has made the family taking a walks together after dinner and thing of the past. "Easy" has been the source of many disputes in living rooms around channel surfing. "Easy" has made it so we don’t even consider that good and lasting things only come with effort and challenges.
To attain and maintain good health requires hard work, patience, discipline and taking personal responsibility for it. Ask yourself…when was the last time you had the age appropriate health screening? How many times a week do you do fast food as opposed to cooking a healthy meal? How many days a week do you devote to an exercise routine? Just really was the last time you committed to living a healthier lifestyle that can last for your lifetime?
Sitting back waiting/wishing will not plant your feet on the pathway to a healthier lifestyle! What can/will do it is having a plan and working the plan on a daily basis. Don’t get me wrong…this road is not always easy but it is worth the benefits.
To help you along the way…get an accountability partner and a circle of support. There will be days when you feel you just can’t…but your support circle will give you all the reasons you can.
