The People magazine interview with Beyonce is seriously the gift that keeps on giving.
Now that Beyonce has been named the most beautiful woman in the world by People, it is only right that she share the secrets of what exactly makes her so darn beautiful.
In the interview, Bey talks about the beauty regime that keeps her glowing.
Many would be surprised to know that Queen Bey doesn’t have a glam squad primping her every morning, instead she relies on the skills learned in mama Tina Knowles’ salon as young Bey, but she does admit to having a dirty little mascara secret.
In the interview, Beyonce says she remembers playing in her mother’s makeup when she was just 6 years old.
"I was playing in my mother's makeup, I had blue eye shadow and red lips, and I put crazy blush on. I looked like a clown, but I thought I was so beautiful.”
Then Beyonce spoke about how she sparks up her makeup routine to look awake after spending a night awake with Blue Ivy Bey said:
"Lip gloss – I love L'Oréal's Infallible 8 HR Le Gloss in Coral Sands – and a little bit of blush."
She then talks about the skills she learned in her mother Tina’s salon growing up:
"I like to experiment [with my hair]," she says. "I love playing around with highlights or bleaching the tips. I can cut and style my own hair."
In fact, she recently gave herself a trim, cutting two inches off her ends. "I just parted it in the middle and chh-chh-chh," she reveals.
She also shares the secrets that she plans to pass on to Bluy Ivy:
"My biggest thing is to teach [Blue] not to focus on the aesthetic," she says. "It's really about who you are, and the human being, that makes you beautiful."
When asked if she's comfortable leaving the house without makeup, Beyoncé says:
"Every day in my life is a part of my history, and I've worked really hard on my career and my life. So I make sure I wouldn't be upset if somebody saw me. I don't have to spend that much time on my skin," she admits – and sometimes, mascara. "I'm pretty good at throwing out the expired stuff, but I hold on to my mascara for a long time," she says. "I actually prefer old mascara. It makes your lashes thicker and longer."

The 100+ stop tour will take the Ball throughout Asia, Australia, and Europe, with more dates to be announced. Today, Gaga also released new highly anticipated details about the tour, including wardrobe collaborations, info about the stage setup and design, and more.

Throngs of Little Monsters have been anticipating Gaga’s costumes for the tour, and they weren’t disappointed. "It's been my life's dream to be dressed in Italian designers," said Gaga, and as such she has collaborated on costumes with today’s biggest Italian designers including Versace, Armani, and Moschino. Lady Gaga also sought designs from other major designers like Calvin Klein Jeans, while also continuing to work with young, up-and-coming designers, like Void of Course, Kerin Rose, Tex Saveiro and Fred Butler.
“Lady Gaga is the present and the future,” said Donatella Versace. “She is the most revolutionary and inspirational artist. She is fearless and daring. I can’t wait for everyone to be surprised by what we’ve cooked up together!”
The Born This Way Ball Tour has been described by Gaga as “the tale of the Beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame,” and the stage reflects this kingdom. In early 2012 Gaga tweeted out a sketch of the set design, revealing a giant castle with a center pit within the stage dubbed “The Monster Pit.” The record breaking stage was designed by Mark Fisher and built by renowned production firm Tait Towers, who have previously built stages for the likes of U2, Madonna, and the Rolling Stones.
