Trudy Williams, assistant professor, Southern University School of Nursing and Allied Health was recently elected as the vice president of the Baton Rouge District Nurses Association (BRDNA).

In addition to fostering high standards of nursing while working to improve health standards and the availability of health care services for citizens of Louisiana, the BRDNA promotes the professional development and image of nursing throughout the community.
