Why are we so fat, thick and big boned? (1367 hits)

Hello all. I recently hosted a program on my Internet Radio Show called, "Why are we so fat, thick and big boned?" We were blessed to have three doctors on the show with us that included, Dr. John Marshall, Dr. Angela Muhammad and Dr. Joshua Murphee. This was an excellent and informative show! Please click on the link to enjoy the show. God bless and let's keep moving forward on our health!

It depends. There are reasons for all three because they all mean something different IMO. To me, those words are not at all synonymous with each other. ...good title though! ;-) (Check out my blog from awhile ago called "Don't Nothin Want a Bone but a Dog" to see what I think the difference is between fat and thick).

Blessings...

Talking specific about Colored people and let me explain the word color and why. First we know not who we are or our identity. Using colored because we are not all black but mulicolor. Now about why we are fat. We are first following the ways of the Devil which is our enemy. The old testament in which is our culture outlines how we are suspose to live and this is not a religion but a relatiioship with our creator. We are Hebrews and our life style should reflex this. I AM HEBREW and in prefect health based on how I feel and what my doctors have discovered. Peace and Love.

Medically speaking I was listening to someone on the Tom Joyner show and he says there is no such thing as big boned. So how do we explain that one?????

Big boned is a term that many black people use to describe their condition. This post is to explore reasons why we are so fat? What's your opinion? We would like to know!

Brother Marcus!
It's all about obesity, we are not on farms when we need all that food. We are not sweating while we work doing our 8 hour days. We sit down most of the time. We do not need that much food. And most important we do not exercise and do things that are exciting such as building since the economic crisis maybe most of us will start to become congential and create and burn calories.
